Immodial - free to play!

Immodial Arena is a free-to-play Minecraft Java battle arena for up to 10 players.
Immoodial is currently in an open beta stage.

How to Connect

Find a friend and point your Minecraft Java-Edition client to arena.immodial.fun.

  1. Log into Minecraft and click Multiplayer on the main menu.

  2. Click Add Server.

  3. Enter arena.immodial.fun as the Server Address.
    Set Server Resource Packs to Enabled, then click Done.

  4. Click Join Server to play!

Gameplay

Players battle in the arena until one team is defeated. To use an ability, select it from the hotbar and drop it. The default key to drop is q. You can remap this key to right-click to make it easier to play.

  1. Log into Minecraft and click Options on the main menu.

  2. Click Controls.

  3. Scroll down to Drop Selected Item and click q> to change the key binding.

  4. Right-click with your mouse to assign right-click to the drop key. Once you do this, the color will turn red to indicate that you have two keys bound to right-click.

  5. Click on Use Item/Place Block and press q to eliminate the conflict. You are now ready to play immodial! You may want to switch your key bindings back before playing on a different server.

Classes

There are 5 classes in Immodial. Each class in Immodial has 4 class abilities, a weapon, and Roll. Each ability has a different cooldown.

Description

The Summoner has mastered the art of nature magic, allowing them to summon minions at will.

Playstyle

Can summon a variety of powerful creatures in a time of need.

Do not assume that a summoner's affinity for nature means they are inherently peaceful.

Abilities

Ground Pound 0.5 seconds Punch the ground, causing nearby enemies to fly into the air and take damage.
Turret 20 seconds Summon a blaze turret that fires at nearby enemies.
Spider Summon 40 seconds Summon 3 spiders to attack nearby enemies.
Zombie Army 60 seconds Summon 3 zombies that are immune to certain attacks.
Mace Passive Holding the mace grants 4 armor toughness.
Roll 10 seconds Roll ahead 3 blocks to dodge attacks instantly. Temporarily blinds nearby opponents.

Description

The Archer is experienced in the art of both using and creating arrows, allowing them to attack opponents with their summoned arrows.

Playstyle

Can use many patterns and formations of arrows to adapt to the enemy's dodging.

The archer is the true weapon; the bow is just a long piece of wood.

Abilities

Barrage 0.75 seconds Fires a short ranged barrage of arrows at the opponent.
Arrow Beam 10 seconds Send a long line of arrrows at the enemy.
Burst 45 seconds Creates many arrows and blasts them in all directions.
Storm 90 seconds Form a cloud that will rain down arrows on opponents underneath it.
Quiver Passive Holding your quiver provides an armor bonus.
Roll 10 seconds Roll ahead 3 blocks to dodge attacks instantly. Temporarily blinds nearby opponents.

Description

The Swordsman's powerful skill with a blade and their strength allows them to use high damage dealing attacks.

Playstyle

Can strike the enemy with area-of-effect attacks oriented towards defence.

The opportunity of defeating the enemy is provided by the enemy himself.

Abilities

Spin Attack 1.25 seconds Swing your sword in a circle, hitting anyone around you.
Thrust 30 seconds Stab an opponent you are touching, dealing high damage.
Shield Bash 50 seconds Get a temporary increase in health while dashing, dealing damage to anyone in the way.
Guard 60 seconds Create traps on nearby players in all directions.
Sword Passive Attacking with the sword grants bonus melee attack speed.
Roll 10 seconds Roll ahead 3 blocks to dodge attacks instantly. Temporarily blinds nearby opponents.

Description

The Trapper has practiced the art of creating traps for capturing enemies.

Playstyle

Can cause extra damage by forcing enemies to get themselves into bad situations.

A rat in a maze is free to go anywhere, as long as it stays inside the maze.

Abilities

Ensnare 1.5 seconds Creates a trap at all nearby enemies that will trigger after moment.
Fatigue 30 seconds Slows and blinds any players close by.
Cage 50 seconds Places a barrier of traps before getting boosted out of the area it has captured.
Mine Field 80 seconds Summons a special mine which will massively explode when an opponent comes too close.
Sword Passive Attacking with the dagger grants bonus attack damage.
Roll 10 seconds Roll ahead 3 blocks to dodge attacks instantly. Temporarily blinds nearby opponents.

Description

The Mage is no longer an apprentice, as they have mastered shulker magic to mess with their enemies strength.

Playstyle

Can apply debuffs to give a disadvantage to those who are hit.

Reality does not pause while we seek understanding; it carries on and we have no choice but to follow.

Abilities

Shulker Shield 0.75 seconds Creates a barrier that applies levitation and creates a trap on those who try to enter.
Heal Pulse 35 seconds Heals all allies within a certian radius, along with giving them extra HP beyond their maximum.
Lightning Quick 45 seconds Creates a lightning trail behind you as you dash forward, lighting enemies on fire.
Time Freeze 100 seconds Spawns a time freeze core that prevents all enemies too close to it from moving.
Staff Passive Holding the staff grants bonus movement.
Roll 10 seconds Roll ahead 3 blocks to dodge attacks instantly. Temporarily blinds nearby opponents.
